21-Day Fast vs. 24-Hour Detox

It took me years to learn that I could get more results in 24 hours than in a 21-day water fast. This is why.

I've collected a lot of shortcuts over the years. Tools that made my life easier.

But if I had to keep only one, it would be this one.

I was in Phuket, really enjoying life. Beach every day. Great time.

And somewhere underneath all of that, my body was talking to me.

I need something.

I didn't want to hear it, because I knew what it really was. I could see it coming.

I'd done a 21-day water fast before. But somehow I knew this one was going to be different.

I'd already committed. That night's meal was the last one.

The next morning I woke up and it had already started. The fast.

I felt amazing. Really focused.

The first five days I went surfing, did exercise, even went to the gym.

On day six, my energy started to drop.

This was the first fast where I really began to understand how powerful enemas can be.

And how much the water quality matters — for the fast, and for the enemas. It makes the biggest difference of all.

That took me years to learn. So now I'm handing it to you for free.

I kept going. My body felt really depleted.

I was moving through some emotional stuff too, so it was challenging. And the set and setting weren't exactly ideal for a water fast.

But I knew my body needed it. I needed to learn something.

The days went by, and I kept doing enemas. Enemas, enemas, enemas.

Around day 17 or 18, I stopped and asked myself what I was actually doing them for.

The honest answer: every time I did one, my nervous system relaxed and I felt amazing.

No deeper purpose than that. It felt like I was hydrating my body in a way drinking water couldn't.

So I decided to just keep going till the end.

Then, in one of those enemas, came the surprise.

A huge black mucus-like chain came out. Forty, fifty, maybe sixty centimeters long.

Huge. Black. Dark. And it smelled like hell.

I stood there looking at myself in the mirror, in shock.

That thing had been living inside of me. That thing was what had been making me feel awful and depleted.

Here's what shocked me most: it took almost 21 days to get it out.

Daily enemas. Three weeks. That's how long that thing held on.

My own eyes were in disbelief at what had just come out of my body.

The next day, more pieces of the same gel-looking stuff came out. And the day after that.

No one could explain it to me. I saw it with my own eyes.

It wasn't until years later that I found, along with the liver cleanse, a detox protocol based on fermented enzymes and traditional Chinese medicine.

The promise: the same results as a 21-day water fast. In 24 hours.

I remember reading the reviews. People doing versions of it with psyllium husk and other natural compounds.

The stuff they were pulling out of their intestines looked exactly like what I saw come out during that fast.

Some people said, "Oh, that stuff comes from the enzymes themselves." But I knew better.

I hadn't eaten anything for 21 days. Nothing but water and enemas. I knew exactly what that was.

So I did the protocol.

God bless fermented enzymes.

It was true. After 24 hours I felt exactly the same as day 21: clean, focused, joyful, loving my body.

Twenty-one days, or twenty-four hours. It took me years to earn that shortcut. It'll take you one read.
